 How are the Awards judged ?

There are 17 award categories, with a separate judging panel for each category.

Each award will have to meet specific set criteria, which will vary depending on the category. A shortlist from each category will then be drawn up and entries will be scrutinised by a judging panel. Judges are invited to sit on the panel by Caterer and Hotelkeeper and are made up from experts in the hotel and hospitality industry.

The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence can be entered into .

All entrants will be notified by letter at the end of September 2011, after final judging has taken place.

A shortlist will appear in Caterer and Hotelkeeper in the 23rd September 2011 edition.
